Minnesota held its primary election on Tuesday, August 14, to determine the candidates for key races both at the state and federal level. Races in the State House of Representatives and the State Senate were decided, with many incumbents defeating their primary challengers. A few races at the federal level were heavily watched as well, including the 5thCongressional District race were Democrat Rep. Illan Ohmar was challenged by former Minneapolis city councilman Don Samuels. Attached is an overview of yesterday’s election results.
